Our next event:

The Noosa Council is currently reviewing the 93 submissions and 204 survey responses received during the public consultation on the Eastern Beaches Foreshore Management Plan. Some 407 people attended the Council pop-ups, asking questions as well as providing input.

All of the information received must be summarised, collated and considered before the final draft of the Plan is produced and presented to the Council for approval.

The Marcus Beach Bushcare Association Submission sought to be constructive by providing feedback and suggestions to Council based on our members’ many years of observation and on-the-ground work.

You can see the full version of the MBBA submission which includes an Appendix section with photographs to illustrate the many aspects of foreshore management.

We will keep you posted.

Noosa's flora and fauna

Visit one of our interpretive walks to see how, as well as protecting the fragile dunes, the plants found across the dunes are the basis of a complex and fragile ecological community.
